A few More Bracelets

Catching Up - Hurray!

As of today (5 January 2015) my production of bracelets has finally gotten caught up. Have not updated the journal yet, but will get to that.

Meanwhile, feast your eyes on these, and let me know what you think, please!

Week 8 Bracelets

The first one is a mix of seed beads and pretty little amber pressed glass beads. The top center is the first bracelet I have made from a bag full of broken bits and pieces rescued for me by my sister, Edith, who shares my passion for finding new uses for old things.

The blue beads on the top right are almost an inch square, and I wasn't sure what I would think of them on a bracelet, but they seem to work out okay.

The fourth one is a simple mix of gold-colored beads and dark brown faceted glass. Number five is a group of AB-finish cubes mixed with small gold-colored beads, and the next is a mix of the same small beads with some reddish-colored rounds. Number seven is a mix of light-weight wooden beads.

Week 9 Bracelets

The bracelets from week 9 are shown in the next photo.

The first one above is the first of an experiment: a wrap-around bracelet that also can serve as a necklace. Next is one of my recent favorites - a mix of rose-colored oval beads with tiny silver spacers.

Had some fun with the next one - shiny, silvery sead beads mixed with some acrylic accents.

Fourth one is a mix of faux pearls and cobalt blue beads. The next also gas faux pearls, mixed with more of the small, gold beads. Next comes a mix of silvery seed beads with pink crystals and an occasional purplish-red bicone bead.

Finally, this week, I had a few potato-shape fresh-water pearls left from other projects, and wanted to mix them in a neutral bracelet. The result is this bracelet, with each pearl surrounded by tiny, sparkling crystals. A toggle clasp provides the finishing tough.
